Made from plastic we’ve recycled ourselves, these bee hotels allow more pollinators in your garden leader to stronger blooms and a stronger ecosystem.

We are a group of young people passionate about solving 2 major problems (plastic pollution and loss of urban biodiversity). The population of British solitary bees has declined by 30% in the last 10 years. The main driver for this loss is a lack of healthy habitats. Our bee hotel - the Air Bee&Bee -provides a clear solution to this problem. The Air Bee&Bee hexagonal casing is made from completely sustainable corn starch based PLA as well as our own recycled materials. The inside is made of bamboo which provides durable tested homes for solitary bees.
The proliferation of plastic waste represents a critical global challenge, with far-reaching consequences for ecosystems, human health, and sustainable development. Humans consume plastic at an ever increasing rate and the disposal of waste is often overlooked. Recycling is a hugely underutilised process - in the UK only 17% of waste is recycled, and globally only 9%. By incorporating recycled materials and bioplastics into our product we effectively help to tackle this issue.
